Piazza Fiammetta, 10, 00186 Roma RM
Restaurant
"La Fiammetta," established in 1944 by Giacinto Cristiani, originated as a bakery-pizzeria in Rome after he moved from Orentano. Soon joined by his twin brothers, Alvaro and Varese, they helped expand the business until Giacinto handed over operations to the twins in 1950. Following his decision to open a separate bakery and marry Fosca Tantazzi, also from Orentano, the establishment transitioned to Trattoria Pizzeria "Fiammetta" in the mid-1950s due to regulatory changes. Today, it stands as a testament to family heritage and culinary tradition.
